Cancellation & Refunds

Pey settles funds between users in real time. This page sets out cancellations, refund eligibility, and statutory turnaround times for failed transactions.

Failed transactions

Auto-reversal under RBI’s Harmonisation of Turnaround Time circular: UPI/IMPS T+1, cards T+5, net banking T+5 working days. Compensation of ₹100/day for delayed reversals where applicable.

User-initiated payments

A successful peer-to-peer settlement is final. If sent in error, contact the recipient directly. Pey can assist with mediation but cannot reverse a successful UPI/IMPS payment.

Premium services

Where Pey charges for value-added services, refunds follow the specific service’s terms — disclosed before payment.
